A Florida woman has been hailed a hero after she rescued 3 young children from a yacht club’s yacht.
Jessica Estrada, a 23-year-old woman from Tampa, Florida, and her husband, Brandon Estradas, 33, were rescued Monday after they were attacked by three young children in the club’s pool.
The couple told the Tampa Bay Times that they were on a private yacht with their son, who is also a member of the club, when they decided to go out for a swim.
The Estradias said the children were not doing well, but Jessica was able to get them out of the water safely and to a medical facility.
Jessica and Brandon are now working as police officers.
They told The Tampa Bay Examiner that they plan to attend law school.
